Mr. Walker was elected to Board membership on the Board of Trustees in January of 2018. Lindsay was born and raised in Jesup, Georgia, having graduated from Wayne County High School and then from the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy in 1982. He married Devra Proctor Walker in July of 1982 and they moved to Statesboro, Georgia, where together then opened Walker Pharmacy on Northside Drive in November of 1984, followed by Little Doses, a children’s boutique in 1994, Walker Pharmacy Market District, a Pharmacy and specialty shop in November of 2002, Brooklet Drug in December of 2002 and Walker Home Medical in 2006. He has been a member of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church since 1986 and on the Board of Deacons since 1993, having served in a number of capacities within the Church, including the current position of Chair of the Board of Deacons. Lindsay has been involved in various Professional organizations within the State of Georgia as well. Given Lindsay’s occupation as a Pharmacist and his love for the denomination as well as his service to others, he has heard the call to service to the Community of The Lodge at Bethany and its affiliate organizations.
